        "content": "<p>PLN Indonesia Power (PLN IP) has unveiled a series of Ramadan 1447 H\nactivities that combine strengthening the reliability of the national\nelectricity system with social responsibility initiatives for the\ncommunity.<\/p>\n<p>Through Electrical Readiness Inspections and Ramadan Outreach\nSafaris, along with activities supporting orphans and the\nunderprivileged, the company has reaffirmed its commitment to\nmaintaining reliable electricity supply whilst distributing benefits\nthroughout the sacred month of Ramadan.<\/p>\n<p>To ensure the electrical system is prepared for the Ramadan period\nthrough Eid al-Fitr, PLN Indonesia Power management conducted Electrical\nReadiness Inspections and Ramadan Outreach Safaris, including one at the\nGeneration Business Unit (UBP) in Pangkalan Susu, North Sumatra, under\nthe theme \u201cAbsorbing Aspirations, Strengthening Collaboration,\nAccelerating Transformation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The visit was attended by PLN IP President Director Bernadus\nSudarmanta, Board Chairman and Independent Commissioner Arief Budiman,\nIndependent Commissioner Anthony Leong, senior leaders from head office,\nand local unit management.<\/p>\n<p>During the activities, management conducted direct inspections of the\ngeneration facilities to ensure equipment readiness, spare parts\navailability, monitoring system optimisation, and personnel preparedness\nduring the alert period. This step represents part of the company\u2019s\npreventive efforts to maintain reliable electricity supply for the\ncommunity, particularly in the North Sumatra region.<\/p>\n<p>PLN Indonesia Power President Director Bernadus Sudarmanta expressed\nappreciation for the improved performance of Pangkalan Susu UBP\nthroughout 2025, which has demonstrated positive trends in both\nreliability and operational performance. He also provided direct support\nto operators responsible for maintaining generation unit\nreliability.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis positive performance reflects the strength and collaboration of\nour team. We ensure that all equipment and personnel are ready to\nmaintain electricity supply reliability, particularly during the Ramadan\nto Eid period,\u201d Bernadus stated in a written statement on Sunday, 1\nMarch 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Board Chairman and Independent Commissioner Arief Budiman\nemphasised the importance of two-way communication as the foundation of\ncorporate transformation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTransformation is not only about technology and performance\nachievements, but also about openness in conveying aspirations. Strong\ncollaboration emerges from honest and constructive communication,\u201d Arief\nstated.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond operational aspects, the Ramadan Outreach Safari at Pangkalan\nSusu UBP also featured social responsibility activities. Through the PLN\nIndonesia Power Cares programme, the company distributed aid to orphans\nand the underprivileged in the surrounding operational area. Assistance\nwas handed over symbolically by management as a manifestation of the\ncompany\u2019s commitment to growing together with the community and bringing\nbenefits during the sacred month.<\/p>\n<p>In related Ramadan activities, PLN Indonesia Power\u2019s Maintenance\nBusiness Unit (UBH) distributed aid to orphans and underprivileged\nchildren from the Orphan and Underprivileged Boarding House in the\nPetamburan area, Jakarta. The activity was held alongside Ramadan\nreligious discourse and a staff iftar meal. Aid comprising cash and food\nparcels was handed over symbolically by UBH General Manager Rahmat\nSyahputra Lubis to 10 orphaned and underprivileged children. The\nprogramme was implemented through collaboration with LAZ Nurul Falah to\nensure assistance reached the intended beneficiaries in a transparent\nand trustworthy manner.<\/p>\n<p>In his remarks, UBH General Manager Rahmat Syahputra Lubis stated\nthat this sharing activity represents the company\u2019s commitment to\ncontinuing to provide benefits to the surrounding community.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRamadan is an opportunity to strengthen care and the spirit of\nsharing.
