        "content": "<p>Jakarta \u2013 PLN\u2019s strong commitment to implementing a\nsustainability-based business transformation has once again borne\nnational recognition. The PLN Group has successfully obtained 46 PROPER\nGold and Green awards from the Ministry of Environment and\nForestry\/Environmental Control Agency (KLH\/BPLH), as an appreciation for\nits outstanding and consistent environmental performance.<\/p>\n<p>In detail, for this year\u2019s PROPER 2025, the PLN Group achieved a\ntotal of 46 awards, consisting of 11 PROPER Gold and 35 PROPER Green.\nFrom this number, PLN Holding obtained 1 PROPER Green, PLN Indonesia\nPower secured 7 PROPER Gold and 22 PROPER Green, while PLN Nusantara\nPower contributed 4 PROPER Gold and 12 PROPER Green.<\/p>\n<p>PROPER Gold is the highest ranking given to companies that not only\ncomply with regulations but also demonstrate sustainability excellence\nthrough social and environmental innovations as well as community\nempowerment. Meanwhile, PROPER Green is awarded to companies that have\nexceeded compliance standards (beyond compliance) through the\nimplementation of good environmental management systems, resource\nefficiency, and sustainable business practices.<\/p>\n<p>This achievement affirms PLN\u2019s acceleration in integrating\nsustainability principles into all lines of business, from the\ndevelopment of new renewable energy (EBT), energy efficiency, the\napplication of circular economy, to the utilisation of low-emission\ntechnology to support the national decarbonisation agenda.<\/p>\n<p>This attainment is even more special with the awarding of PLN\u2019s\nPresident Director, Darmawan Prasodjo, as \u2018Green Leadership PROPER\u2019 for\nhis role in driving the transformation towards a sustainable utility\nwhile accelerating Indonesia\u2019s energy transition.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister of Environment\/Head of BPLH, Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, who\npresented the awards in Jakarta on Tuesday (7\/4), emphasised that PROPER\nis not merely a symbolic award, but a real indicator of a company\u2019s\nperformance in preserving the environment while creating value for\nsociety.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHopefully, the predicate we give can encourage all of our\nperformance in contributing at the national level as well as in the\ninternational business contest,\u201d said Hanif.<\/p>\n<p>He also reminded the importance of maintaining consistency, so that\nthe Gold predicate does not become just a momentary achievement, but a\nstandard in the company\u2019s future operations.<\/p>\n<p>The Deputy for Pollution Control and Environmental Damage (PKKL) of\nKLH\/BPLH, Rasio Ridho Sani, added that the number of PROPER 2025\nparticipants reached 5,476 companies, an increase of 22% compared to the\nprevious year.<\/p>",
