PLN Jakarta Raya Distribution Main Unit (UID) has ensured that PAM\nJaya\u2019s clean water services will remain operational during the\nmaintenance of electrical substations supplying the water company\u2019s\noperational facilities. The maintenance of the distribution substations\nis being conducted using a \u2018no-outage\u2019 method to ensure that the\nelectricity supply remains available throughout the works. This step is\nintended to support the operation of water treatment and distribution\nfacilities serving the people of Jakarta.<\/p>\n
The General Manager of PLN UID Jakarta Raya, Moch. Andy\nAdchaminoerdin, stated that PLN has coordinated with PAM Jaya from the\nplanning stage through to the execution of the work to ensure no service\ndisruptions occur for customers. \u201cPLN is not only focused on the\nreliability of the electricity supply but also on ensuring that every\nmaintenance task can be performed without disrupting vital services\nneeded by the community,\u201d said Andy on Saturday (6\/6\/2026).<\/p>\n
PLN has prepared several security measures during the maintenance\nprocess, including providing a backup power supply via Mobile Cable\nUnits (UKB) so that PAM Jaya\u2019s operational facilities continue to\nreceive electricity. This scheme allows the clean water treatment and\ndistribution process to continue normally while the substation\nmaintenance is carried out.<\/p>\n
The Manager of PLN Menteng Customer Service Implementation Unit\n(UP3), Hendratua P. Manurung, noted that coordination between PLN and\nPAM Jaya is a crucial factor in maintaining public services. \u201cWe\nunderstand that clean water services are a basic necessity for the\ncommunity that must be maintained. Therefore, PLN is coordinating\nintensively with PAM Jaya to ensure that electrical substation\nmaintenance can be carried out safely while maintaining the continuity\nof the electricity supply that supports water service operations,\u201d said\nHendra.<\/p>\n
The Senior Manager of the Production Division at PAM Jaya, Aly\nSunandar, stated that PLN\u2019s support allows PAM Jaya\u2019s facilities to\nremain operational during the maintenance process.
