Depok, West Java - President Director of PT PLN (Persero) Darmawan\nPrasodjo has prepared a layered electricity security system at the State\nPalace to support the smooth running of the 81st Anniversary of the\nIndependence of the Republic of Indonesia ceremony.<\/p>\n
In a virtual press conference on Electricity Alertness for the 81st\nAnniversary of Indonesian Independence at PLN UIP2B Jamali, Depok, West\nJava, in the early hours of Sunday, Darmawan said PLN is implementing\nfive layers of security, from power plants, substations, and\ntransmission to feeders.<\/p>\n
\u201cSpecifically for the celebration of the 81st Anniversary of the\nRepublic of Indonesia at the State Palace, we have prepared layered\nsecurity up to five levels. This covers generation, substations, and\ntransmission,\u201d Darmawan said.<\/p>\n
The layered security is being implemented to ensure that electricity\nsupply remains reliable throughout the event.<\/p>\n
In addition to the main system, PLN has also prepared uninterruptible\npower supply (UPS) units and backup generators as a precautionary\nmeasure in the event of disruption to the main network.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have prepared this well so that we can provide electricity\nwithout a flicker, with the hope of ensuring that the celebration of the\nRepublic of Indonesia\u2019s Independence Day at the State Palace can also\nrun smoothly,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Darmawan confirmed that all electrical equipment has been thoroughly\ninspected to ensure it is in prime condition before the state ceremony\ntakes place.<\/p>\n
The generation, transmission, substation, and distribution teams are\nworking in an integrated manner to ensure that all electricity\ninfrastructure is ready to support activities in the State Palace\narea.<\/p>\n
PLN has deployed full standby personnel throughout the series of\nevents marking the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia to\nmaintain the reliability of the system without any power flickers.<\/p>\n
The layered security measure is part of PLN\u2019s commitment to providing\nreliable electricity services for all state events.<\/p>\n
Darmawan also called on the public to provide support and prayers so\nthat all tasks related to securing the national electricity system\nproceed smoothly according to plan.<\/p>\n
PLN is optimistic that the readiness of personnel, equipment, and\nbackup systems will be able to maintain the smooth supply of electricity\nso that the commemoration of the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of\nthe Republic of Indonesia is a success.<\/p>\n
