The move is part of a revitalisation strategy to\nboost visitor numbers and economic activity at the market. \u201cIf I recall\ncorrectly, Beringkit used to sell a lot of fighting cocks. Moving forward, we are\nstill thinking about how to make this market busy,\u201d he stated. Perumda\nMGS also plans to add special operational days for the poultry market so\nit does not clash with the existing cattle market schedule. Once it is safe,\ntraders, sellers, and we at the market company will surely share\nownership and maintain it together,\u201d he added. Pasek Wedha added that\nall animal trade transactions are expected to eventually be centralised\nin Badung Regency through a representative market. He expressed hope\nthat the success of this plan requires synergy and support from various\nrelated parties. \u201cConceptually it is fairly easy, but implementation\nmight be difficult.
