JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com \u2013 The Chairman of the PKS Faction in the DKI\nJakarta DPRD, M. Taufik Zoelkifli, stated that the replacement of the\nDKI Jakarta DPRD Chairman from Khoirudin to Suhud Alynudin is a decision\nby the Prosperous Justice Party\u2019s (PKS) Central Executive Board (DPP)\nthat has undergone careful consideration.<\/p>\n
\u201cOf course, it has been carefully considered by the leaders at the\nDPP. As for us at the DPW, in PKS, the principle is sami\u2019na wa atha\u2019na\n(we hear, we obey). So if there is a change, we hear and we obey,\u201d\nTaufik said when confirmed on Tuesday (21\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n
Taufik assured that the leadership change at the top of the DPRD is\nnot driven by internal party conflicts. According to him, the\nreplacement is part of a series of consolidations that have previously\noccurred in the party structure.<\/p>\n
He explained that the process of replacing the DKI Jakarta DPRD\nChairman is still ongoing and must go through several administrative\nstages.<\/p>\n
The replacement proposal will first be reported to the Ministry of\nHome Affairs, then returned to the DPRD for discussion, and coordinated\nwith the Governor of DKI Jakarta before being brought to a plenary\nsession.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere is a process. The replacement of the DPRD Chairman must be\nreported to the Ministry of Home Affairs, then it will be returned to\nthe DPRD, and we will also coordinate with the Governor. Then there will\nbe a plenary session first before the replacement. So the process will\nlikely take a while,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Regarding Khoirudin\u2019s position, Taufik mentioned that the individual\nwill receive a new role within the party. With the experience he\npossesses, Khoirudin is expected to contribute more broadly at the\nnational level or within the DPP.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn PKS across all provinces in Indonesia. So he can be elevated with\nhis input (Khoirudin). So he will become a coordinator, something like\nthat,\u201d Taufik revealed.<\/p>\n
The decree also states that the position of DPRD Chairman previously\nheld by Khoirudin is proposed to be replaced by Suhud Alynudin. This\ndecision was conveyed to the PKS Jakarta DPW to be followed up in\naccordance with applicable laws and regulations.<\/p>\n
In addition, the appointed party member is obliged to carry out the\nduties and authority as DPRD Chairman as well as a council member and\nfaction member as a party mandate.<\/p>\n
