Secretary General of
the PKP Ministry Didyk Choiroel stated during a press conference in
Jakarta on Wednesday that the regular programme budget is Rp10.31
trillion, with realisation currently at Rp2.60 trillion or 25.27
percent. Regarding the PKP Ministry’s realisation by programme,
management support has been realised at Rp497 billion, while the
Self-Help Housing Stimulant Assistance (BSPS) programme stands at Rp1.9
trillion or 22.25 percent. Realisation for flats reached Rp151 billion
or 40.61 percent, and special housing reached Rp23.4 billion or 11.73
percent. Didyk noted that the handling of slum areas, sanitation, and
infrastructure, facilities, and utilities (PSU) is currently in the
tender preparation stage, with spending so far limited to construction
management or planning. For monitoring, evaluation, guidance, and
operations at centres or work units, realisation reached Rp23.12 billion
or 43.57 percent. Minister of Housing and Settlement Maruarar Sirait
previously stated that around 80 percent of his ministry’s budget this
year is allocated for the programme to renovate 400,000 uninhabitable
houses. He said the total PKP Ministry budget in 2026 exceeds Rp10
trillion, with the majority focused on the Self-Help Housing Stimulant
Assistance (BSPS) programme. Ara explained that this allocation is
equivalent to around Rp8 trillion used to support the national home
renovation target. According to him, the BSPS Programme is part of the
government’s target to renovate approximately 400,000 houses in 2026, a
significant increase compared to the previous year’s realisation. Ara
said that of this total target, 15,000 units are allocated for border
areas as part of efforts to equalise development. He added that the
implementation of the BSPS Programme is carried out by providing
stimulants to the community, with an average assistance amount of around
Rp20 million per housing unit.
",
