        "content": "<p>PKB to draft state assets bill<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: The National Awakening Party (PKB) faction at the<br>\nHouse of Representatives plans to draft a bill on the management<br>\nof state assets in an attempt to protect assets scattered in<br>\nnumerous accounts or places.<\/p>\n<p>PKB legislators Taufiqurrahman Saleh and Rodjil Ghufron said<br>\non Monday that the move was in response to demands by people in<br>\nEast Java recently.<\/p>\n<p>\"We need a law to regulate state assets, for example, the<br>\nbanpres (presidential aid funds) lent to some businesspeople that<br>\nreach trillions of rupiah,\" Ghufron said here on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>According to Ghufron, grassroots people had questioned whether<br>\nstate assets lent to businesspeople would be returned to the<br>\nstate.<\/p>\n<p>Ghufron added that members of his faction would submit the<br>\nproposal at the next House session due to start on May 13. - JP<\/p>",
