Pistol found near airport<\/p>\n
TANGERANG (JP): Head of the Soekarno-Hatta International
\nAirport Police subprecinct Capt. Titik Valentina found a revolver
\ndumped by two unidentified man riding a motorcycle in a street
\nnear the airport on Saturday night.<\/p>\n
The policewoman said she was driving to the airport with her
\ndeputy when she saw a black plastic bag dropped from a motorcycle
\nin front of their vehicle.<\/p>\n
The officers pulled over to examine the bag's contents and
\nwere surprised to find a Smith & Wesson .36 revolver.<\/p>\n
\"The pistol is police standard issue but was not equipped with
\nbullets,\" she said.<\/p>\n
The officers were unable to pursue the motorcycle as the men
\nhad long disappeared from view.<\/p>\n
Tangerang Police chief Lt. Col. Pudji Hartanto, said his
\noffice had not identified the owner of the gun.<\/p>\n
