        "content": "<p>Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Energy issuer PT Oxala Energy International\nTbk (PIPA) is finalising its plan to acquire a company engaged in\nnatural gas processing. This corporate action is part of PIPA\u2019s business\ntransformation to strengthen its foothold in the energy sector while\nopening new sources of growth.<\/p>\n<p>PIPA\u2019s controlling shareholder, PT Morris Capital Indonesia (MCI),\nthrough a letter to the company\u2019s Board of Commissioners dated 18 August\n2026, stated that MCI and PIPA are in the process of finalising the\nacquisition transaction of the target company. The parties are targeting\nthe signing of a Conditional Share Purchase Agreement (CSPA) in August\n2026.<\/p>\n<p>PIPA Corporate Secretary Haerul Maelani said the company targeted for\nacquisition has been operating for approximately 14 years. Initially,\nthe company was engaged in trading engineering equipment, construction,\nand engineering consulting services with a turnover of around Rp40\nbillion per year.<\/p>\n<p>However, since 2025, the target company has begun expanding into the\noil and gas processing business. The expansion was strengthened by the\nacquisition of a number of strategic contracts worth more than US$100\nmillion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince 2025, the target company has expanded into the oil and gas\nprocessing sector with the acquisition of strategic contracts worth more\nthan USD100 million,\u201d said Haerul in an information disclosure on\nWednesday (19\/8\/2026).<\/p>",
