Phony soldier arrested<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): City Police have detained for questioning a
\ncivilian who was caught wearing an Army uniform at the Kampung
\nRambutan intercity bus terminal in East Jakarta yesterday.<\/p>\n
City Police spokesman Lt. Col. E. Aritonang said that Ansusuar
\nPresdi, 30, was detained by local police officers for
\nimpersonating an officer. Police said the man appeared suspicious
\nbecause despite wearing the official uniform, he also wore a pair
\nof sandals.<\/p>\n
\"What's funny is that he wore sandals instead of Army boots.
\nThat's why he was quickly spotted by some police officers at the
\nterminal,\" Aritonang said.<\/p>\n
But police are still not sure of the man's motives for wearing
\nthe Army uniform in such a public place.<\/p>\n
\"We are still questioning him,\" he said.<\/p>\n
According to police, the suspect was not doing anything of
\nharm at the bus station.<\/p>\n
Ansusuar was taken to City Police Headquarters' Internal
\nAffairs unit at about 11:30 a.m. yesterday.<\/p>\n
\"The man failed to show the Army card to officers,\" said
