        "content": "<p>Philips' markets new handset<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): Dutch telecommunications equipment maker Philips<br>\nConsumer Communications, introduced its new cellular handset<br>\nyesterday which offers voice dial.<\/p>\n<p>The handset, dubbed Spark, is part of Philips' new series of<br>\nGlobal System for Mobile (GSM) terminals after Fizz, which was<br>\nintroduced last year.<\/p>\n<p>Spark is 139 millimeters high, 56 mm long, 18 mm wide and<br>\nweighs 139 grams. Talk-time is 10 hours and standby 350 hours.<\/p>\n<p>The Indonesian digital cellular handset market is controlled<br>\nby Sweden's Ericsson, Germany's Siemens, the United States'<br>\nMotorola and Finland's Nokia.<\/p>\n<p>Philips's manager in Indonesia, Husni Erwinn, said the company<br>\nwould launch a smaller GSM handset, called Genie, later this<br>\nyear.<\/p>\n<p>Genie weighs 96 grams and is one of the smallest and lightest<br>\nGSM terminals along with Motorola's StarTac.
