Petrochemical park set up<\/p>\n
JAKARTA(JP): PT Pancapuri Indoperkasa, a new company owned by
\nbusinessman Prajogo Pangestu, will build a petrochemical
\nindustrial estate in Cilegon, West Java, with an investment of Rp
\n120 billion (US$54 million), to support the operation of his
\nolefin center.<\/p>\n
Ferry Sutandi, general manager of Pancapuri Indoperkasa, said
\nover the weekend that the planned industrial estate, to be named
\nPancapuri Indoperkasa Industrial Estate, is expected to be ready
\nto accommodate the construction of petrochemical plants later
\nthis year, after the operation of the olefin center, which is
\nowned by PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Center.<\/p>\n
The center, currently at its trial operation stage, is
\nexpected to start commercial production next month.<\/p>\n
Sutandi said the planned industrial estate will cover an area
\nof 250 hectares, comprising of 25 five-hectare lots, three ten-
\nhectare lots and two 13-hectare lots.<\/p>\n
He said that 33 percent of the whole area, of which 175
\nhectares will be offered to investors, has now been reserved.<\/p>\n
He said that 60 percent of the cost for the industrial estate
\ndevelopment is financed with a loan from Bank Danamon and the
\nremaining 40 percent with equity capital, reported Bisnis
\nIndonesia.<\/p>\n
Pancapuri Indoperkasa has Prajogo as its chief commissioner
\nand Sudwikatmono as its president.(32)<\/p>",
