        "content": "<p>Petersen Quartett &amp; Siegfried Matthus<\/p>\n<p>Currently in Jakarta to participate in the European Union<br>\nMusic Festival: Music of the 20th Century, which is being held<br>\nthrough to April, 1999, is the Petersen Quartett and Siegfried<br>\nMatthus. The Petersen Quartet was founded in 1979 by students<br>\nfrom the conservatory of music Hans Eisler Musikhochschule,.<\/p>\n<p>Today, this group is one of the most important quartets in<br>\nGermany. They will perform during the festival at venues in<br>\nBandung, Feb. 22; Surabaya, Feb. 24; and Jakarta, Feb. 26. On<br>\nFeb. 27, they will join a Composer Workshop at Erasmus Huis,<br>\nJakarta.<\/p>\n<p>Noted German composer Siegfried Matthus will hold the<br>\nworkshop. Matthus is one of the rare East German composers who<br>\nhave gained international recognition since the 1970s.
