CEO of PUNDI Group\nand INA Trading AmirAmiranto Adi Wibowo stated that the need for digital\nproduct identities is increasingly critical as international buyers now\ndemand certainty regarding product origins and the authenticity of\nexport documents. \u201cDigital Product Passports are mandatory for business\nactors because buyers require certainty of product origin and the\nauthenticity of export documents,\u201d Amiranto said in a statement in\nJakarta on Thursday. The technology was introduced at a Seminar &amp;\nCuration event for Yogyakarta Product Authenticity Assurance with PERURI\nRFID Blockchain &amp; Curation, also attended by PERURI\u2019s Director of\nFinance &amp; Risk Management Fajar Rizki and YAPETRI Chairman Syahril.\nAmid rising global market demands for transparency, sustainability, and\nproduct traceability, Yogyakarta businesses face new challenges that are\nno longer solely about product quality, but also the ability to\ndigitally prove product origin and authenticity. The Peruri RFID\nBlockchain technology is the result of a collaboration between Peruri\nSmart Card, PERURI Digital Security, and PUNDI. The solution enables\neach product to have a unique digital identity, authenticity guarantee,\nand a globally verifiable Digital Product Passport. Through the INA\nTrading platform, businesses can also record the carbon footprint\ngenerated during the production process. This data includes emissions\nfrom transportation, energy consumption, and manufacturing processes,\nallowing buyers to understand the environmental impact of the products\nthey purchase. CEO of Peruri Smart Card Muchrizal explained that the\nRFID technology affixed to products serves as a digital identity that\nstores the product\u2019s track record from upstream to downstream. \u201cThrough\nthis technology, a bamboo craft product from Yogyakarta can have a\ncomplete digital track record from the raw material cultivation stage to\nbecoming a finished product ready for export,\u201d he said.
