PT Pertamina (Persero), together with the Ministry of Energy and\nMineral Resources (ESDM) and the State-Owned Enterprises Regulatory Body\n(BP BUMN), contributed to the organisation of the 2026 Joint Homecoming\nProgramme, which took place on Tuesday, 17 March 2026.<\/p>\n
Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development,\nAgus Harimurti Yudhoyono, appreciated the state-owned enterprises for\norganising the free homecoming event. He assessed that the effort is\nproof of the state\u2019s presence in providing the best services to the\npublic.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd this is a collective endeavour; the President of the Republic of\nIndonesia has stated that if we can provide the best services to the\npublic, it certainly shows that the state and government are present for\nthem,\u201d said Agus Harimurti.<\/p>\n
On the same occasion, the Head of BP BUMN, Dony Oskaria, stated that\nthe Free Homecoming Programme by State-Owned Enterprises is a tangible\nmanifestation of the state-owned enterprises\u2019 commitment to be present\nand provide direct benefits to the public, especially during important\nmoments like Eid al-Fitr. Through this programme, the state, via\nstate-owned enterprises, also helps the public realise safer and more\ncomfortable homecoming journeys.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Free Homecoming Programme by State-Owned Enterprises is a\nmanifestation of gotong royong and the state-owned enterprises\u2019 care for\nthe public. We want to ensure that the public can undertake homecoming\njourneys more safely, comfortably, and successfully, while also helping\nto reduce traffic density during the Eid period,\u201d said Dony.<\/p>\n
He added that the increasing number of participants each year\nindicates the high trust and enthusiasm of the public towards this\nprogramme. According to him, in addition to helping the public\nhomecoming without being burdened by transportation costs, this\nprogramme is also expected to help reduce traffic congestion and improve\ntravel safety during the Eid homecoming period.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe hope that all participants can arrive at their hometowns safely\nand celebrate Eid al-Fitr with their families in a safe and comfortable\nmanner,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
As part of the state-owned enterprises, Pertamina\u2019s participation in\nthe government-organised joint homecoming programme is a manifestation\nof the company\u2019s commitment to supporting safe, efficient, and\nsustainable public mobility.<\/p>\n
Pertamina\u2019s Corporate Secretary, Arya Dwi Paramita, stated that this\nprogramme is part of Pertamina\u2019s support for government efforts in\npromoting orderly homecoming journeys that are more energy-efficient and\nhelp reduce traffic congestion during the Eid homecoming period.<\/p>\n
\u201cPertamina actively participates in three homecoming programmes,\nnamely the Pertamina Joint Homecoming managed independently by the\ncompany, and two government synergistic homecoming programmes, namely\nthe Energy Sector Joint Homecoming and the Free Homecoming by\nState-Owned Enterprises. Overall, Pertamina has prepared 167 bus fleets\nto support the smooth travel of the public to more than 25 destination\ncities,\u201d said Arya.<\/p>\n
Arya added that the 2026 Pertamina Joint Homecoming was held on 15\nMarch 2026 at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), Jakarta. Meanwhile,\nparticipation in the Energy Sector Joint Homecoming programme and the\nFree Homecoming by State-Owned Enterprises was held on 17 March 2026 in\nJakarta.<\/p>\n
According to Arya, the joint homecoming programme also encourages the\nuse of more efficient and environmentally friendly collective\ntransportation. \u201cThrough joint journeys, fuel consumption can be\nreduced, making it more energy-efficient while contributing to the\nreduction of exhaust gas emissions. This aligns with Pertamina\u2019s\ncommitment to supporting low-carbon mobility and is in line with the\ngovernment\u2019s efforts in the clean energy transition in Indonesia,\u201d added\nArya.<\/p>\n
He further noted that collaboration with various parties, including\nthe Ministry of ESDM, BP BUMN, and support from other state-owned\nenterprises, is key to the success of organising the homecoming\nprogramme.<\/p>\n
