        "content": "<p>Yogyakarta (ANTARA) - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Jawa Bagian\nTengah is adding 710,160 LPG cylinders to the supply in Central Java to\nanticipate increased public demand during Ramadan 1447 H.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe additional 710,160 cylinders will be distributed gradually\nstarting today until next week and will continue to be evaluated\naccording to developments in the field,\u201d said Area Manager\nCommunication, Relations and CSR of Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Jawa\nBagian Tengah, Taufiq Kurniawan, in a statement in Yogyakarta,\nWednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Taufiq explained that the additional supply is an \u201cextra dropping\u201d or\ndistribution outside the established daily regular allocation.<\/p>\n<p>This policy was taken based on a joint evaluation with local\ngovernments following a trend of increasing consumption of 3kg LPG\nduring Ramadan.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the additional supply strengthens stocks at\nofficial distribution points so that the public can still obtain 3kg LPG\nat the Highest Retail Price (HET) set by the government.<\/p>\n<p>Taufiq appealed to the public to buy subsidized LPG at official\ndistribution points to get the price according to the HET.<\/p>\n<p>The public is also asked not to buy LPG at prices that soar above the\nHET to avoid sales practices by irresponsible parties.<\/p>\n<p>Buying at official distribution points, according to Taufiq, is the\nsimplest way to ensure that prices remain in accordance with the\nprovisions, namely Rp18,000 per cylinder.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn average, in each village or sub-district, there are nine to 10\nofficial 3kg LPG distribution points that have been registered and\nmonitored, so that public access to subsidized LPG remains maintained,\u201d\nsaid Taufiq.<\/p>",
