        "content": "<p>Pertamina Patra Niaga conducted checks on facilities and\ninfrastructure following a loud explosion in the area in front of SPBU\n54.803.30 Darmasaba, Abiansemal, Badung, on Friday (17\/4\/2026). In the\nexamination, the preliminary suspicion is that the blast was initiated\nby a spark from someone smoking.<\/p>\n<p>Area Manager for Communication, Relations &amp; CSR Jatimbalinus,\nAhad Rahedi, stated that the explosion occurred about 20 metres south of\nthe SPBU and caused material damage to the drainage culvert. Further\ninvestigation suggests the cause was smoking activity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPreliminary suspicion is that there was someone smoking in front of\nthe SPBU totem, resulting in a source of fire and triggering the\nexplosion,\u201d he said in a written statement received by detikBali on\nSunday (19\/4\/2026) evening.<\/p>\n<p>After the explosion, the operator immediately extinguished the fire\nusing three APAR units until the fire was successfully put out.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding indications of leaks, checks were carried out using oil\npaste, and preliminary results found no leaks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCurrently, the SPBU is undergoing a pipeline leak test to check for\nleak indications. Preliminary results show no oil leaks in the\nmonitoring wells, which were checked using oil paste,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n<p>For now, the Darmasaba SPBU is not operating while awaiting\nconfirmation of results and field condition assessments.
