        "content": "<p>PT Pertamina (Persero) is strengthening its national energy security\nstrategy through increasingly flexible and integrated LNG portfolio\nmanagement, combining domestic and global supply sources, supported by\nLNG and gas infrastructure across various regions of Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>The strategy was one of the key focuses brought by Pertamina to\nGastech 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand. Pertamina\u2019s presence at the global\nenergy forum forms part of efforts to broaden connectivity with players\nin the world energy industry, whilst strengthening opportunities to\ndevelop its LNG portfolio and business amid changes in the global energy\nlandscape.<\/p>\n<p>Market volatility, geopolitical dynamics, and growing energy demand\nmean energy security is no longer determined solely by the volume of\nsupply, but also by the ability to secure the right energy sources, at\nthe right time and location, at competitive cost.<\/p>\n<p>Muhammad Baron, VP of Corporate Communication at PT Pertamina\n(Persero), said diversification of sources and portfolio flexibility are\nan important part of maintaining energy security amid global market\ndynamics.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor Pertamina, energy security is not only about how much supply is\navailable, but also the ability to obtain energy from the right sources,\nat the right time, at competitive cost. That is why diversification of\nsources and LNG portfolio flexibility are important to strengthen\nIndonesia\u2019s energy security,\u201d said Baron.<\/p>\n<p>To enhance this flexibility, Pertamina is developing an LNG portfolio\nfrom various sources. In addition to optimising domestic supply,\nPertamina holds an international portfolio, including from Australia and\nthe United States. This diversification gives Pertamina room to adjust\nsupply sources and delivery patterns according to needs, market\nconditions, and economic considerations.<\/p>\n<p>This supply flexibility is reinforced by the Pertamina Group\u2019s LNG\nand gas infrastructure, including Perta Arun Gas, Nusantara Regas, the\nJawa-1 LNG receiving terminal, and PGN\u2019s gas pipeline network spread\nacross various regions of Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>The integration of supply sources, receiving and storage\ninfrastructure, regasification, pipeline networks, and distribution\nforms the foundation for building a more adaptive LNG supply chain. With\nthis ecosystem, LNG can be managed according to need, from receiving and\nstorage through to regasification and distribution to various\nregions.<\/p>",
