        "content": "<p>Pertamina sells new lube<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): State oil and gas company Pertamina has launched<br>\na new lubricating oil for heavy equipment and large vehicles<br>\nusing high speed diesel engines made in Europe and North America.<\/p>\n<p>Pertamina said in a statement yesterday the new lube, which is<br>\nbranded Meditran SX 15W-40, was launched Monday for heavy<br>\nequipment like tractors, bulldozers, excavators and large<br>\nvehicles like dump and mining trucks which were equipped with<br>\npollution-free diesel engines.<\/p>\n<p>The lube is good for the brands like Caterpillar, MACK,<br>\nScania, Volvo, Mercedes Benz, MAN and Renault, it said.<\/p>\n<p>Pertamina produced a special lubricating oil branded Meditran<br>\nSC 15W-40 for heavy equipment and large vehicles in 1994 but it<br>\nwas not suitable for pollution-free diesel engines.<\/p>\n<p>Manufacturers in Europe and North America have modified diesel<br>\nengines for heavy equipment and large vehicles to meet the public<br>\ndemand for a clean environment, the company said.<\/p>\n<p>New engines require high quality lubricating oil like the<br>\nMeditran SX 15W-40 lube, Pertamina said.<\/p>\n<p>The lube is, for the moment, only available in Java but will<br>\nlater be supplied to other areas.
