PT Pertamina (Persero) has selected 350 top women entrepreneurs from
8,210 female-led MSMEs who registered and completed a series of tiered
learning and selection stages over the past three months for the
PFpreneur 2026 programme. Pertamina Foundation Operations Director
Gusman Adiwardhana stated in Jakarta on Monday that PFpreneur is part of
an MSME development ecosystem run by Pertamina Foundation to spur
national economic growth by strengthening women-led MSMEs. Launched in
2020, the programme has empowered 6,325 women entrepreneurs, with 840 of
them becoming PFpreneur mentees. “In 2026, 350 womenpreneurs were
selected after undergoing a learning and capacity-building process
divided into four selection stages: pre-curation, curation 1, curation
2, and final curation, using a selection system of pre-tests,
post-tests, and group assignments,” Gusman said during the PFpreneur
2026 Inauguration event. In the pre-curation stage, 3,489 participants
passed administrative screening and received basic entrepreneurship
training covering leadership, business mindset, consumer understanding,
and strengthening product and market value. In curation stage 1, 2,339
selected participants studied business operations, cost structures and
pricing, competitor analysis, marketing strategies, and sales evaluation
to reinforce their business foundations. Curation stage 2 saw 1,279
MSMEs selected for training on product development, branding and
business positioning, visual promotional content creation, and the use
of technology and artificial intelligence to support business growth.
Finally, entering the final curation, 802 participants underwent
intensive mentoring on business growth strategies, financial management,
pitch deck preparation, public speaking skills, and business negotiation
and communication. From all these stages, the 350 best women-led MSMEs
were officially selected as Pertamina’s fostered MSME partners through
the PFpreneur 2026 Programme. The selected womenpreneurs will then have
the opportunity to join Pertamina’s advanced MSME development programme,
UMK Academy. Pertamina’s Director of Strategy, Portfolio, and Business
Development, who also serves as Chair of the Pertamina Foundation Board
of Trustees, Emma Sri Martini, said that strengthening the domestic
ecosystem of MSMEs is key to facing global dynamics. “Indonesia’s
domestic strength lies in its MSME sector. PFpreneur is one of
Pertamina’s efforts to strengthen domestic power by providing gradual
coaching, curation, and funneling,” she said. This also aligns with the
Astacita vision regarding national economic growth through regional
economic development. Meanwhile, Central Chairwoman of the Patra Women’s
Association (PWP) Priscilia Simon Mantiri said Pertamina Foundation has
created a space for Indonesian women to learn and grow. “When a woman is
empowered, it is not only she who grows, but her family grows with her,
her community develops, and ultimately this nation becomes stronger.
Therefore, we believe the best investment is investment in people,
especially women,” she said. According to her, the 350 selected
womenpreneurs are proof that Indonesian women possess resilience in
developing businesses while simultaneously fulfilling various roles in
their families and communities.
",
