        "content": "<p>PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has requested that the government\nstandardise procurement tariffs for Fatty Acid Methyl Ester (FAME) to\nsupport the smooth implementation of B50 biodiesel. This proposal arises\nbecause FAME supply sources are scattered across various regions,\nwhereas Pertamina must distribute the product to numerous areas with\ndiffering distances.<\/p>\n<p>The President Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga (PPN), Mars Ega\nLegowo Putra, stated that Pertamina is one of the business entities with\na significant requirement for FAME, as it is the largest supplier of B50\nBiosolar. This situation requires Pertamina to procure FAME from various\nlocations to meet distribution needs throughout Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe hope for equal treatment because Pertamina Patra Niaga is not the\nonly business entity distributing or marketing B50 Biosolar products,\u201d\nsaid Mars during a meeting with Commission XII of the Indonesian House\nof Representatives (DPR RI) at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta,\non Tuesday (8\/9\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>He illustrated that Pertamina may procure FAME from Sumatra to\nsubsequently distribute to Sulawesi or Kalimantan. The difference in\ndistance between the supply source and the sales region significantly\naffects the procurement and distribution costs of FAME.<\/p>\n<p>Consequently, Pertamina proposes a single weighted price to be\napplied equally to both Pertamina Patra Niaga and other business\nentities distributing B50 Biosolar. According to Mars, such a policy is\nnecessary to ensure that competition in FAME procurement remains\nfair.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe hope there will be a single tariff that can be standardised and\nestablished by the government,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Mars noted that the proposal is currently under discussion with the\nMinistry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), specifically the\nDirectorate General of New, Renewable Energy, and Energy Conservation\n(EBTKE). He stated that the government has welcomed the proposal.<\/p>",
