Pertamina reduces prices<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): State oil and gas company Pertamina has reduced
\nprices of compressed natural gas (CNG) and the Bensin Biru Dua
\nLangkah (BB2L) gasoline but maintained those of Premix, Super TT
\ngasoline, lubricating oils and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).<\/p>\n
Pertamina's spokesman Ramli Djaafar told The Jakarta Post
\nyesterday the price increases for Premix and Super TT gasoline,
\nLPG and lubricating oils made on May 5 were still in effect.<\/p>\n
Pertamina then raised the price of Premix to Rp 1,500 (1.8 US
\ncents) per liter, Super TT's price to Rp 1,600 per liter, and
\nLPG's price to Rp 840 per liter for vehicles and Rp 1,500 per
\nliter for household and industry.<\/p>\n
The price increases were made following the government's
\ndecision to raise fuel prices on the same day.<\/p>\n
But, Djaafar said Pertamina had last Saturday reduced the
\nprice of CNG to Rp 450 per liter from the May 5 price of Rp 550
\nper liter and the price of BB2L to Rp 900 per liter from the May
\n5 price of 1,050 per liter.<\/p>\n
The price reductions were made following the government's
\nrecent decision to lower fuel prices in response to a public
