        "content": "<p>JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - PT Pertamina (Persero) through Pertamina Patra\nNiaga has officially set the prices for petroleum fuel (BBM) effective\nfrom 1 April 2026 at all petrol stations across Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>In this latest determination, there is no change in prices for all\ntypes of BBM, whether subsidised or non-subsidised, even as global oil\nprices strengthen due to the intensifying conflict in the Middle East\nstemming from the war between Iran and Israel and the United States\n(US).<\/p>\n<p>Thus, BBM prices for April 2026 remain the same as the previous\nperiod, covering all Pertamax Series and Dex Series products.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPertamina Patra Niaga consistently implements government policies,\nincluding in the determination of BBM prices,\u201d said Roberth in an\nofficial statement on Tuesday night (31\/3\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>He added that Pertamina continues to take various strategic steps to\nmaintain energy supply stability, from negotiations with suppliers to\noptimising BBM distribution to all regions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe also urge the public to use energy according to their needs and\nnot to be influenced by information that could trigger panic,\u201d said\nRoberth.<\/p>\n<p>State Secretary Minister, Prasetyo Hadi, stated that the decision was\ntaken after coordination between the Ministry of Energy and Mineral\nResources (ESDM) and Pertamina, based on instructions from President\nPrabowo Subianto.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTherefore, Pertamina states that there will be no adjustment to\nprices for either subsidised BBM or non-subsidised BBM,\u201d said Prasetyo\non Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>He hopes this certainty can provide clear and accurate information to\nthe public, while dampening concerns regarding price increases.<\/p>\n<p>The Palace also assures that domestic BBM stocks are in a safe\ncondition, so the public does not need to panic.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe hope the public does not need to worry because we guarantee the\navailability of BBM,\u201d said Prasetyo.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the government always prioritises public interests\nin every policy decision.<\/p>",
