        "content": "<p>PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Jawa Bagian Tengah (Central Java\nand DIY) has taken proactive steps during the school holiday period\nrunning from 22 June to 3 July 2026. The company has officially\nincreased Pertalite fuel stocks by 10 to 18 percent at all public\nfilling stations (SPBU) across Central Java and the Special Region of\nYogyakarta. This strategic measure aims to anticipate the surge in\ntourist vehicles, based on the trend of rising fuel consumption during\nlast year\u2019s school holiday period, which saw an increase of 1.4 percent\nin Central Java and 7 percent in DIY. Area Manager Communication,\nRelations, &amp; CSR for Pertamina Patra Niaga Jateng DIY, Taufiq\nKurniawan, stated that the position of Central Java and DIY as premier\nnational tourist destinations is the main reason behind the stock\nreinforcement. \u2018Central Java and DIY are two provinces that rely on the\ntourism sector as the heart of their economy. Access is easy and\naffordable, so as in previous years, we are anticipating and fully\nsupporting this consumption surge,\u2019 said Taufiq. Daily stock\nreinforcement at SPBU will be carried out dynamically based on periodic\nevaluations, with priority given to points along tourist routes and\ndestinations. To ensure consumer comfort and prevent congestion around\nfilling areas, Pertamina Patra Niaga Jateng DIY is also implementing\nfive tactical measures. First, fuel distribution to SPBU is conducted in\nthe early hours to avoid traffic density. Second, the delivery volume\ncapacity of Pertalite to potential SPBU is increased. Third, special\nofficers are deployed to manage queues on site for orderly refuelling.\nFourth, packaged drinking water is distributed free of charge to queuing\nmotorists.
