        "content": "<p>Padang, West Sumatra (ANTARA) \u2014 PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional\nNorth Sumatra (Sumbagut) has increased liquefied petroleum gas (LPG)\nsupply by 19.5 per cent, equivalent to 2,400 metric tonnes, to meet\npublic demand in West Sumatra Province ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1447\nHijrah.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis LPG increase is to support public needs which are expected to\nrise significantly during Eid,\u201d said Sales Area Manager Pertamina Patra\nNiaga Sumbagut West Sumatra Region Fakhri Rizal in Padang, West Sumatra,\non Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>By Saturday (14 March 2026), Pertamina Sumbagut had already increased\nLPG supply by between 10 and 15 per cent from normal requirements in the\nWest Sumatra region.<\/p>\n<p>Pertamina recorded that West Sumatra\u2019s LPG requirement for March 2026\nstands at 14,000 metric tonnes.<\/p>\n<p>Pertamina Sumbagut has also ensured that all bulk LPG filling\nstations (SPBE) in West Sumatra remain operational during the holiday\nperiod.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe SPBE stations will continue operating, including during Nyepi\nDay, with full operations continuing until 22 March 2026,\u201d said\nFakhri.<\/p>\n<p>With the LPG supply increase of 19.5 per cent, Pertamina has urged\nthe public not to make excessive purchases and not to worry about the\navailability of three-kilogramme LPG cylinders or non-subsidised Bright\nGas products.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Pertamina Sumbagut has ensured coordination with 173\nsubsidised and non-subsidised LPG agents ready to serve public needs\nduring Eid.<\/p>\n<p>Pertamina has also encouraged local authorities and relevant agencies\nto assist in monitoring LPG retail prices at both wholesale and retail\nlevels.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPertamina will continue monitoring LPG sales at authorised wholesale\ncentres in accordance with the maximum retail price,\u201d said Fakhri.<\/p>",
