        "content": "<p>PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Central Java (JBT) has increased\nstock at distribution agencies by adding 1,567,660 3kg LPG cylinders in\nCentral Java and Yogyakarta. Area Manager for Communication, Relations,\nand CSR of Regional Central Java (JBT), Taufiq Kurniawan, said on Monday\nin Semarang that the additional supply is equivalent to 99.31% of daily\nnormal consumption. \u201cWe ensure the additional 3kg LPG supply maintains\nfield stock reliability, especially at agency level, so the public does\nnot need to worry about availability during Idul Adha celebrations,\u201d he\nsaid. He explained the additional stock consists of 1,087,860 cylinders\nin Central Java and 479,800 in Yogyakarta. \u201cWe hope this additional\nstock will ensure public safety and comfort during Idul Adha rituals and\nthe late May holiday period,\u201d he added. He said Pertamina continues to\nensure stock reliability down to the distribution level that directly\ninteracts with the public. The additional supply is distributed through\ntwo schemes: first, facultative distribution of 1,048,440 cylinders on\nMay 27, 2026. Facultative is an additional distribution scheme on\nholidays or public holidays, outside regular working-day schedules, to\nensure stock availability amid high public demand. Second, extra\ndropping of 519,220 cylinders in the fourth week of May 2026. Extra\ndropping is an increase above normal daily distribution, aimed at\nstrengthening agency stock more quickly as demand rises ahead of Idul\nAdha. This step is part of Pertamina\u2019s efforts to maintain energy supply\nstability while anticipating increased household LPG consumption during\nthe Idul Adha period. \u201cWhen large-scale cooking activities significantly\nincrease at family and community levels,\u201d he said. Furthermore, as\nsupport for the government\u2019s LPG subsidy program, Pertamina urges those\nwho can afford to use non-subsidised LPG to ensure subsidies reach the\nintended recipients. Pertamina offers non-subsidised LPG products under\nthe Bright Gas brand in two sizes: 5.5kg and 12kg. \u201cAlthough supply is\nample, we also urge the public to consume energy wisely and purchase 3kg\nLPG from official Pertamina agencies,\u201d he said.
