PT Pertamina Patra Niaga is strengthening its readiness for the\ndevelopment and commercialisation of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) by\nexpanding its International Sustainability and Carbon Certification\n(ISCC) to five strategic locations across Indonesia. By 2026, this\nexpansion will include the Juanda Aviation Fuel Terminal (AFT) and the\nSurabaya Integrated Terminal (IT), thereby increasing the reach of SAF\nservices for airlines.<\/p>\n
Entering its third year of implementation, the ISCC certification is\npart of Pertamina Patra Niaga\u2019s efforts to ensure that SAF management\nand its sustainability attributes meet standards for compliance,\ngovernance, traceability, and Chain of Custody in accordance with\ninternationally recognised sustainability standards.<\/p>\n
Alimuddin Baso, Corporate Marketing Director of Pertamina Patra\nNiaga, stated that expanding the ISCC certification to five locations is\na strategic move to broaden access to SAF services while strengthening\nthe company\u2019s readiness to capture growth opportunities in Indonesia\u2019s\nsustainable aviation market.<\/p>\n

The ISCC certification was issued on 8 August 2026 and is valid for\none year. The five covered locations include AFT Soekarno-Hatta, AFT\nHalim Perdanakusuma, AFT Ngurah Rai, AFT Juanda, and IT Surabaya.<\/p>\n
The addition of the Juanda Airport location also creates\nopportunities to meet voluntary demand from airlines in the Surabaya\nregion and its surroundings. IT Surabaya also becomes the first\nIntegrated Terminal within Pertamina Patra Niaga to be ISCC certified,\nexpanding the application of sustainability standards to supply chains\nbeyond Aviation Fuel Terminals.<\/p>\n
This strengthening of certification simultaneously supports Pertamina\nPatra Niaga\u2019s readiness for the implementation of the Indonesian\nGovernment\u2019s SAF mandate starting in 2027, through the reinforcement of\noperations, infrastructure, and supply chain governance.<\/p>\n
