        "content": "<p>Pertamina Patra Niaga has assured that fuel (BBM) prices are stable\nor unchanged. Pertamina will focus on strengthening energy distribution\nto ensure supplies remain secure amid increasing public demand.<\/p>\n<p>Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth MV Dumatubun,\nstated that the company not only implements pricing policies but also\nreinforces distribution strategies to maintain safe fuel availability in\nthe field. \u201cWe consistently carry out government policies, including\nfuel price setting, and take strategic steps such as negotiating with\nsuppliers and optimising distribution,\u201d said Roberth, as quoted from\nAntara on Thursday, 2 April 2026.<\/p>\n<p>He said supply stability is the top priority amid circulating\ninformation dynamics in society, including issues of price increases\nthat once triggered consumption spikes in several areas.<\/p>\n<p>Pertamina Patra Niaga is also anticipating market psychological\nimpacts by ensuring optimal distribution, thus preventing supply\nshortages due to short-term buying surges.<\/p>\n<p>Area Manager for Communication, Relations &amp; CSR at Pertamina\nPatra Niaga Regional Kalimantan, Edi Mangun, said that previous queues\nat several petrol stations were triggered by public concerns over fuel\nprice increase rumours. \u201cThere was indeed public concern since the\ncirculation of fuel price increase rumours, particularly for subsidised\nfuel, which impacted queues. However, the government has confirmed there\nwill be no fuel price increase,\u201d said Edi.<\/p>\n<p>He added that Pertamina, as the operator, will follow government\nregulations while maintaining reliable energy distribution services for\nthe public. \u201cWe also urge the public to use energy wisely according to\nneeds and not be influenced by information that could trigger panic\nbuying,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>Pertamina views the public\u2019s role in maintaining reasonable\nconsumption patterns as an important factor in supporting smooth\ndistribution, thereby ensuring national energy resilience remains intact\nand able to support economic activities.<\/p>",
