        "content": "<p>JAKARTA \u2013 The increase in the price of non-subsidised diesel fuel is\nonce again being felt by diesel car owners, including users of the\nToyota Kijang Innova Reborn. Following recent discussions on private\nfuel price hikes, it is now Pertamina\u2019s products that are undergoing\nadjustment as of 4 May 2026. The price of Pertamina Dex has now risen to\nRp 27,900 per litre, from the previous Rp 23,900 per litre. Looking\nfurther back, this price has surged significantly from Rp 14,500 per\nlitre prior to the adjustment in April 2026. With a 55-litre tank\ncapacity, the impact is immediately noticeable when filling up fully.\nFor Pertamina Dex at the new price of Rp 27,900 per litre, the full tank\ncost now reaches Rp 1,534,500. Previously, when the price was still Rp\n23,900 per litre, the full tank cost was Rp 1,314,500. Meanwhile,\nDexlite has also seen a price increase, though not as steep as Pertamina\nDex. At the new price of Rp 26,000 per litre, the full tank cost reaches\nRp 1,430,000. Previously, at Rp 23,600 per litre, the full tank cost was\naround Rp 1,298,000. This means an increase of about Rp 132,000.\nCompared to the old price of Rp 14,200 per litre, the total difference\namounts to around Rp 649,000. Nevertheless, both fuels remain below the\nprices of private diesel fuels such as BP Ultimate Diesel, which\npreviously approached nearly Rp 1.7 million for a full tank. As an\nillustration, the diesel Innova Reborn is equipped with a 2GD-FTV engine\nwith a capacity of 2,393 cc, four-cylinder DOHC with VNT Intercooler.\nWith current fuel prices, owners of diesel Innova Reborn now face\nincreasingly realistic choices.
