        "content": "<p>PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Jawa Timur Bali Nusa Tenggara (Jatimbalinus)\nhas stated that the resumption of operations at the Reo fuel terminal\n(TBBM Reo) in Reok District, Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, is\nstill awaiting structural strength testing of the jetty following the\nmagnitude 7.7 earthquake in Flores.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor TBBM Reo, we are still waiting for the structural strength test\nof the jetty to receive fuel unloading from ships, following the\nearthquake on 15 August,\u201d said Area Manager Communication, Relations\n&amp; CSR of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Jatimbalinus, Ahad\nRahedi, in Kupang on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>He said this relates to the development of plans to resume operations\nat TBBM Reo after the earthquake that occurred in Mbay on 15 August\n2026.<\/p>\n<p>TBBM Reo, he said, is a large fuel terminal with a large jetty that\nis visited by large-tonnage vessels during fuel unloading. Moreover,\naftershocks are still continuing to occur.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, structural strength testing of the jetty is very important\nto prevent the jetty from collapsing when large vessels carrying fuel\nberth.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe do not want the jetty to collapse or fall when a ship berths. We\nare currently waiting for the test results, and if repairs are needed,\nthey will be carried out,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Ahad said that to meet fuel needs in the Reo area and its\nsurroundings, Pertamina is redirecting supply from all fuel terminals in\nthe Flores region.<\/p>\n<p>To meet fuel needs in the Labuan Bajo area, as well as for aviation\nfuel, Pertamina is redirecting fuel supply from Bima, West Nusa\nTenggara.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 16 tanker trucks with a capacity of 15 kilolitres have\narrived in Labuan Bajo on Wednesday (19\/8) to support fuel\ndistribution.<\/p>\n<p>Ahad assured that fuel needs for residents in the area remain\nfulfilled amid the earthquake disaster that is still occurring in the\nregion.<\/p>",
