        "content": "<p>Rumours of a fuel price increase to Rp 17,000 per litre circulating\non social media platform X have been confirmed as untrue. PT Pertamina\n(Persero) emphasised that the information does not originate from the\ncompany and no official decision has been made regarding fuel prices as\nof 1 April 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Vice President of Corporate Communication at PT Pertamina (Persero),\nMuhammad Baron, stated that the circulating projections of fuel price\nhikes are not accountable.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInformation on fuel price increase projections circulating cannot be\nheld accountable; to date, there has been no official announcement\nregarding prices as of 1 April 2026,\u201d he told detikcom on Monday\n(30\/3\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Baron advised the public not to easily believe unverified\ninformation. He requested that the public access the company\u2019s official\nchannels to learn about fuel price developments.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cObtain valid Pertamina fuel price information only through official\nchannels at www.pertamina.com. Pertamina supports the government\u2019s call\nto use energy wisely,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>ESDM: Non-Subsidised Prices Await 1 April<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Director General of Oil and Gas at the Ministry of Energy\nand Mineral Resources, Laode Sulaeman, stated that the official\nannouncement of non-subsidised fuel prices will be delivered on 1 April\n2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor non-subsidised fuel, we just wait until 1 April,\u201d Laode told\ndetikcom.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that non-subsidised fuel prices follow global oil price\nmovements. However, subsidised fuel prices are confirmed to remain\nunchanged.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe important thing is that there will be no increase for subsidised\nfuel,\u201d said Laode.<\/p>\n<p>For information, Pertamina produces non-subsidised fuels such as\nPertamax (RON 92), Pertamax Turbo (RON 98), Pertamax Green (RON 95),\nPertamina Dex (CN 53), and Dexlite (CN 51).<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, subsidised fuels, namely Pertalite, remain at Rp 10,000\nper litre and Solar (Biosolar) at Rp 6,800 per litre.<\/p>\n<p>Laode also assured that the availability of fuel and LPG is safe and\nadequate.
