        "content": "<p>Pertamina Patra Niaga is continuing to accelerate the normalisation\nof energy distribution to a number of petrol station (SPBU) operators\nfollowing the Flores earthquake. Efforts are being made through supply\ndiversion, the addition of tanker trucks from Bima in West Nusa\nTenggara, and the acceleration of operational recovery at petrol\nstations.<\/p>\n<p>As part of strengthening supplies, 11 fuel tanker trucks with a\ncapacity of 16 kilolitres each and an avtur tanker truck with a capacity\nof 16 kilolitres were dispatched from Bima and arrived safely in Labuan\nBajo on 17 August 2026 in the morning.<\/p>\n<p>Upon arrival in Labuan Bajo, the tanker truck crews immediately moved\ntowards their respective destination petrol stations to accelerate fuel\ndistribution to the public.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the accelerated recovery process, 47 of the 52 petrol\nstations have now resumed operations. Meanwhile, five petrol stations\nremain non-operational. These stations will continue to be monitored and\nevaluated until they are ready to operate.<\/p>\n<p>VP Corporate Communication of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Kitty Andhora,\nstated that the company is continuing to coordinate and monitor\nconditions on the ground to ensure that the four petrol stations still\nnot operating can be restored promptly, while paying attention to safety\naspects and operational readiness.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur focus is to ensure that the public\u2019s energy supply is maintained\nand that the normalisation process can proceed as quickly as possible.\nWe divert supplies from areas where possible, and once they arrive, we\nimmediately distribute them to the destination petrol stations,\u201d said\nKitty.<\/p>\n<p>Pertamina Patra Niaga has urged the public to remain calm and to use\nfuel and LPG wisely according to their needs.
