        "content": "<p>Products from PT Pertamina (Persero), namely the Pertamax Series,\nbecame the primary choice for the public during the Eid homecoming and\nreturn flows in 2026. This is evident from the significant surge in\nconsumption of several Pertamax products during the Ramadan to Eid\nal-Fitr period, compared to the average daily consumption in January\n2026 (normal consumption). Vice President of Corporate Communication at\nPT Pertamina (Persero), Muhammad Baron, stated that the increase in\nconsumption of various Pertamax-type fuel variants compared to the\nnormal daily average in January 2026 indicates that more people are\nchoosing high-quality fuel. This is believed to support more comfortable\nand optimal long-distance journeys. \u201cHomecoming trips are synonymous\nwith long distances and dynamic traffic conditions. Therefore, many\npeople choose Pertamax Series to keep vehicle performance optimal during\nthe journey,\u201d said Baron. On 20 March 2026, or H-1 before Eid, which is\none of the peaks of the outbound flow, consumption of Pertamax (RON 92)\nwas recorded to increase by 11.8% compared to the normal period average.\nMeanwhile, the environmentally friendly product Pertamax Green (RON 95)\nrecorded the highest increase of 94.7% compared to the normal period.\nThis surge shows increasing public interest in more environmentally\nfriendly fuel. Pertamax Turbo, intended for high-performance vehicles,\nalso experienced a consumption increase of 34.5% compared to the normal\ndaily average. Baron added that the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr period,\nespecially during holiday moments, is synonymous with increased public\nmobility, both for returning home or holidays. To anticipate this,\nPertamina has endeavoured to meet the public\u2019s energy needs during the\nRamadan and Eid al-Fitr 2026 period adequately. Pertamina has increased\nsupply stocks well in advance and prepared various additional services\non attention routes, namely homecoming routes and tourist locations such\nas 24-hour alert fuel stations, motorist fuel and LPG escorts, and\nenergy service points on strategic routes. \u201cWe strive to ensure that the\npublic\u2019s journeys during this Eid moment run comfortably until the\nreturn flow ends,\u201d said Baron.
