        "content": "<p>Spokesperson for the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM),\nDwi Anggia, has explained the reason why subsidised fuels such as\nPertalite are not being sold at several Pertamina fuel stations. This is\ndue to changes in services.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor several Pertamina fuel stations in Jakarta, there is indeed an\nupgrade, a change in status from regular fuel stations to Pertamina\nSignature stations, which provide premium services and facilities,\u201d said\nAnggia in Jakarta on Friday (8\/5\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Anggia explained that subsidised fuels like Pertalite and biosolar\nare still sold at regular fuel stations. Therefore, he stressed that the\nnon-sale of Pertalite at several Pertamina stations is not because\nPertamina has stopped distributing subsidised fuels.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s just that there are changes in services and status at some of\nthe stations,\u201d said Anggia.<\/p>\n<p>On that occasion, Anggia also assured that PT Pertamina (Persero)\nthrough PT Pertamina Patra Niaga is required to distribute Special\nAssignment Fuel Type (JBKP) RON 90 or Pertalite through distributors or\nfuel stations assigned by BPH Migas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe assignment is carried out quarterly to ensure the availability\nof quotas, distributors, and the needs of consumers in\ndistricts\/cities,\u201d said Anggia.<\/p>\n<p>The statement relates to the viral announcements from several\nPertamina fuel stations that have stopped selling Pertalite. These\nannouncements were followed by changes in status of several Pertamina\nstations to Signature SPBUs.<\/p>\n<p>Quoted from the official Pertamina Patra Niaga website, Pertamina\nSignature fuel stations offer various additional services. For example,\nconsumers who refuel at least Rp 350,000 will receive free tyre\npolishing services.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, staff also provide rubbish bins for consumers who want\nto dispose of small waste such as tissues or paper.
