According to Indra, infrastructure reliability is an important factor\nin maintaining national energy security. Well-maintained infrastructure\nenables gas transportation and distribution to take place continuously\nto meet the needs of various sectors.<\/p>\n
This is in line with the spirit of \u201cEnergi Merah Putih Indonesia\nMakmur\u201d which is part of Pertamina Group\u2019s efforts to strengthen\nnational energy independence and security. \u201cEnergy is an important\nstrength for Indonesia\u2019s progress. Therefore, maintaining infrastructure\nreliability and ensuring energy distribution runs well is a tangible\nform of nationalism carried out by Pertagas workers every day,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n
This commitment was also demonstrated through board of directors\nvisits to several operational areas to monitor the readiness and\nreliability of gas distribution infrastructure. These activities were\ncarried out in conjunction with the 81st Independence Day commemoration\nheld simultaneously in six Pertagas operational areas: Balikpapan,\nCikarang, Surabaya, Pangkalan Brandan, Rokan, and Palembang.<\/p>\n
Ceremonies in each region were attended by Pertagas workers and led\nby board members as ceremony inspectors. Pertagas officers carried out\nthe raising of the Red and White flag, while workers wore traditional\nregional attire as a representation of Indonesia\u2019s cultural\ndiversity.<\/p>\n
