        "content": "<p>Police have arrested a man with the initials KM who allegedly\ncommitted a series of random stabbings in the Tangerang City area.\nAuthorities revealed the attacks occurred at five separate locations.\n\u201cThe crime scenes are on Jalan Rusa and Jalan Tampak Siring, Perumnas 2,\nKarawaci; Jalan Sawo and Jalan Bawang, Perumnas 1, Cibodasari; and Jalan\nSingkarak, Perumnas 3, Kelapa Dua District,\u201d stated the Head of Public\nRelations for the Metro Jaya Regional Police, Commissioner Budi\nHermanto, on Sunday (12\/7\/2026). Police are currently investigating the\nsuspect\u2019s connection to the five stabbings. \u201cOfficers are still looking\ninto the individual\u2019s involvement in the five incidents, including the\npossibility of additional victims and the object used,\u201d he said. The\nTangerang City Metro Police Chief, Commissioner Raden Muhammad Jauhari,\nstated that the suspect was detained in the Bencongan area, Kelapa Dua,\nTangerang Regency, on Saturday. \u201cThe perpetrator was arrested on\nSaturday (11\/7) at around 11.30 WIB at his residence in the Bencongan\narea, Kelapa Dua, Tangerang Regency. Police acted after conducting a\nseries of investigations based on statements from victims, witnesses,\nand the results of the crime scene investigation,\u201d Jauhari explained.\nThe police chief noted that the perpetrator had carried out two random\nstabbings in the Cibodas area of Tangerang City. The first attack\noccurred on 11 May 2026 on Jalan Sawo X, Cibodasari Village. \u201cThe first\nvictim, Sunarah, had just finished exercising and was riding a bicycle.\nSuddenly, a motorcyclist approached from behind and touched the victim\u2019s\nback,\u201d said Commissioner Jauhari. The victim initially did not realise\nhe had been stabbed and only felt a stinging sensation. However, upon\narriving at his workplace, a colleague discovered a tear wound on the\nright side of his back, requiring medical examination and a visum. The\nsecond incident occurred on 9 July 2026 on Jalan Bawang VII, Cibodasari\nVillage. The second victim, Malik Zaidan Setiono, was walking to a\nminimarket when he was allegedly attacked from behind by the suspect on\na motorcycle. \u201cThe victim felt a sharp pain on the right side of his\nwaist. Upon inspection, it turned out he had a wound that was bleeding,\nrequiring medical treatment with two stitches,\u201d he stated. The suspect\nis currently being held at the Jatiuwung Police Station.
