JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The NasDem Party has stated its interest in\nsponsoring the commercial naming rights for public transport facilities\nin Jakarta.<\/p>\n
This interest arises in response to DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono\nAnung\u2019s statement inviting political parties to participate in the\nnaming rights programme for bus stops in the capital.<\/p>\n
\u201cYes, I want to explore that, actually for the NasDem Party, if this\nbecomes an open regulation, yes, as long as there is a price and it is\ntransparent,\u201d said Deputy Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD NasDem\nFaction, Wibi Andrino, to reporters on Monday (13\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n
\u201cWe want to try having the bus stop near the NasDem office,\nGondangdia Bus Stop, become Gondangdia NasDem Bus Stop,\u201d Wibi said.<\/p>\n
Regarding potential violations or conflicts with the General\nElections Commission (KPU) regulations on advertising and campaigning\nlimits for political parties, Wibi is confident that the local\ngovernment\u2019s regulations have undergone thorough review.<\/p>\n
\u201cYes, the regulation is certainly from the DKI Jakarta Provincial\nGovernment, surely in making the regulation there has been\nconsultation,\u201d Wibi explained.<\/p>\n
He emphasised that NasDem is ready to follow the applicable\nprocedures if legally permitted, including fulfilling the payment\nobligations for the naming rights.<\/p>\n
However, according to him, bus stops as a starting point could also\nbecome a policy to increase Jakarta\u2019s Original Local Revenue (PAD).<\/p>\n
\u201cI was even thinking earlier that if there were naming rights at MRT\nstations, that would be even cooler, but this is fine. So later,\nGondangdia NasDem Bus Stop, it fits,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Previously reported, DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung openly opened\nthe door to anyone, including political parties, who wants to sponsor\nthe names of bus stops or stations in Jakarta.<\/p>\n
