        "content": "<p>Padang (ANTARA) - The National Leadership Council of the Indonesian\nAdvocates Association (Peradi) has channelled aid amounting to Rp6.7\nbillion for the construction of several public facilities and\ninfrastructure damaged by flash floods and landslides in Sumatra.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeradi has always been active and concerned about disasters that\noccur,\u201d said the General Chairman of the National Leadership Council of\nPeradi, who is also the Deputy Minister for Law, Human Rights,\nImmigration, and Correctional Services, Otto Hasibuan, in the city of\nPadang on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>In Agam Regency, Peradi laid the foundation stone for a mushalla, in\nthe city of Padang the Peradi delegation together with the Deputy\nGovernor of West Sumatra Vasko Ruseimy built several classrooms at SMA\n12 Padang damaged by flash floods, and in Solok Regency the advocates\u2019\norganisation built a suspension bridge.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, Peradi successfully collected donations from its treasury,\nexecutives, members, as well as partners\/other parties to help recover\nfrom the flood disaster impacts in West Sumatra, Aceh, and North\nSumatra, reaching Rp6.7 billion. The aid handed over is focused on the\nconstruction of several public facilities and infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn terms of value, it may seem small compared to government funds,\nbut this is a manifestation of Peradi\u2019s solidarity in every national\nsorrow,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>On that occasion, he handed over financial aid to 13 Peradi members\naffected by flash floods and landslides in West Sumatra.
