People may face water shortages<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Residents in different parts of the city will
\nsuffer water shortages as the tap water company, PT PAM Lyonnaise
\nJaya (Playja), will temporarily stop its clean water production
\nat the Pejompongan water treatment plant, from 7 p.m. on Saturday
\nuntil Sunday at around 8 a.m.<\/p>\n
The company stated that some water shortages may be
\nexperienced and areas which may be affected by the stop are:
\nBendungan Hilir, Sudirman, Jati Pinggir (Tomang), Cideng,
\nKatamso, Abdul Muis, Kebon Sirih, KH Mas Mansyur, Jembatan Tiga,
\nBandengan, Gedong Panjang, Pelabuhan Pemancingan (Fishing Port),
\nMuara Baru and Kyai Tapa.<\/p>\n
The temporary stop of this water treatment plant is to
\nevaluate the condition of its reservoir so that Palyja can plan
\nmajor works later this year. It will also clean the reservoir as
\nwell as the presedimentation basin of the water treatment plant.<\/p>\n
Palyja apologizes for the inconvenience and reminds all
\ncustomers to be prepared and to keep their home water tanks
\nfilled before this period and to pay attention not to waste
\nwater.<\/p>\n
