        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Total ticket sales for PT Pelni ships during the\n2026 Lebaran transport period from 6 March to 6 April 2026 have reached\n56.5 percent of the total available tickets. \u201cTotal ticket sales for\nships in this period amount to 424,836 passengers (pax) or 56.5 percent\nof the total available tickets of 751,550 pax,\u201d said PT Pelni President\nDirector Tri Andayani in Jakarta on Wednesday. She predicts that ticket\nsales will continue to increase in line with this year\u2019s Lebaran mudik\nand return flows. Tri Andayani stated that to face the mudik flow, her\ncompany continues to enhance service quality for customers. \u201cIncluding\nthrough digital transformation oriented towards ease of access and\npassenger comfort,\u201d she said. She noted that Wednesday marks the peak of\nthe mudik flow, with evident enthusiasm from passengers utilising the\ngovernment\u2019s 30 percent discount programme. \u201cThis discount has increased\nthe number of passengers in this Lebaran transport because the programme\napplies to all travel routes,\u201d she said. The company recorded that up to\n18 March 2026, the busiest departure ports during Lebaran transport were\nMakassar with 35,393 pax, followed by Balikpapan with 29,448 pax, Batam\nwith 28,623 pax, Ambon with 23,866 pax, and Bau-Bau with 19,850 pax.\nMeanwhile, the busiest arrival ports to date are Surabaya with 49,436\npax, Makassar with 35,023 pax, Belawan with 26,963 pax, Bau-Bau with\n25,979 pax, and Ambon with 21,879 pax. The busiest routes to date are\nBatam to Belawan with 24,006 pax, followed by Belawan to Batam with\n15,340 pax, then Balikpapan to Surabaya with 11,945 pax. Next, the Kumai\nto Semarang route with 10,707 pax and Makassar to Semarang with 10,707\npax. As a state-owned enterprise in the shipping services sector, PT\nPelni currently operates 25 passenger ships serving 483 routes and\ncalling at 75 ports. Pelni also serves 30 pioneer ship routes that\nprovide accessibility for population mobility in underdeveloped,\nfrontier, outermost, and border areas (3TP) with pioneer ships calling\nat 229 ports with a total of 516 routes and 2,515 itineraries.
