        "content": "<p>PT Pelni (Indonesia National Shipping) has prepared six passenger\nvessels during the 2026 Eid holiday travel period in East Nusa Tenggara\n(NTT). The six ships are KM Siguntang, Tidar, Sirimau, Awu, Wilis, and\nBinaiya, which will transport passengers from Kupang City to other\nregions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese six ships will call at Kupang City to transport people to\nother areas,\u201d said Teguh Hari Setiadi, General Manager of PT Pelni\u2019s\nKupang Branch Class II, during an interview at Tenau Port Kupang, NTT,\non Friday (13 March 2026).<\/p>\n<p>Teguh explained that Pelni has received permission and dispensation\nfrom the Ministry of Transportation for a 35 per cent increase in\npassenger ticket allocation quotas for those wishing to travel by Pelni\nvessels.<\/p>\n<p>Ticket bookings utilise an online system that can be downloaded on\nAndroid and through various official sales channels. Should passengers\nusing Pelni vessels face information limitations, they can visit the\nnearest branch office directly.<\/p>\n<p>Pelni Warns Public Against Ticket Sale Fraud on Social Media<\/p>\n<p>Teguh cautioned all NTT residents to exercise caution regarding\nticket purchases through social media platforms. According to him, such\ntransactions can be confirmed as fraudulent, as residents of Kupang City\nhave already fallen victim to ticket sale scams falsely claiming to\nrepresent PT Pelni.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are currently investigating this matter in cooperation with\npolice to uncover such cases.
