PT Pelindo targets the reduction of 17 subsidiaries under the SOE\nstreamlining programme, which will decrease the total number of entities\nfrom 41 to 21.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis transformation is still a long journey, but it starts with\nstreamlining, after which we will enter the process of properly\narranging our business model,\u201d Dony said in an official statement\nconfirmed in Jakarta on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Of the 17 entities included in the restructuring programme, 1-1\nentities have completed their corporate actions, while the remaining six\nare targeted for completion by 31 December 2026.<\/p>\n
The restructuring is being carried out through various schemes,\nincluding mergers, consolidations, divestments, and liquidations.<\/p>\n
In addition to simplifying the number of entities, Pelindo is also\nshifting its parenting model from a strategic holding approach towards\nactive management.<\/p>\n
Under this model, Pelindo will take a more direct role in managing\ncore operational activities, with a clearer division of roles between\nthe holding company, regional offices, service lines, and business\nentities.<\/p>\n
Dony believes that this transformation can be executed more\nintegrally through consolidation under Danantara.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe decision to undergo this transformation is highly appropriate.\nNow, with the consolidation under Danantara, everything becomes possible\nto achieve,\u201d said Dony.<\/p>\n
