The forum will also\ninvolve international organisations such as UNESCAP, the Institute for\nGlobal Environmental Strategies (IGES), and ICLEI-Local Governments for\nSustainability, which are global partners in sustainable city\ndevelopment. Pekanbaru Mayor Agung Nugroho will chair the meeting. He\nstated that the appointment is a significant opportunity to raise\nIndonesia\u2019s profile internationally. \u2018This trust is an honour for\nPekanbaru, Riau Province, and Indonesia.
