        "content": "<p>The Pekanbaru City Government has ensured that the forest and land\nfire conditions within the city area are increasingly under control.\nCurrently, fire hotspots in Pekanbaru City have reached zero.<\/p>\n<p>As air conditions improve following rainfall, teaching and learning\nactivities in Pekanbaru have returned to normal. Children have returned\nto face-to-face learning in schools after previously being moved to\nonline learning to protect students\u2019 health from the impacts of\nhaze.<\/p>\n<p>The Mayor of Pekanbul, Agung Nugroho, stated that this condition is\nthe result of collaborative efforts between all elements of the\ngovernment, the TNI (Indonesian National Armed Forces), Polri (National\nPolice), BPBD (Regional Disaster Management Agency), firefighters,\nvolunteers, and the community members who continue to protect their\nenvironment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlhamdulillah, fire hotspots in Pekanbaru are currently at zero.\nThis is the result of the hard work of all parties and the prayers of\nthe community. However, we must not be complacent. Preparedness must be\nmaintained,\u201d said Agung.<\/p>\n<p>He emphasised that the decision to return to face-to-face learning\nwas made with a principle of caution, always prioritising the safety of\nchildren.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen air conditions were unsafe, we took swift action to ensure\nchildren were protected. When conditions improved, schools reopened. The\nsafety and health of children remain our top priority,\u201d he asserted.<\/p>\n<p>The Pekanbaru City Government expressed appreciation for the patience\nof parents, teachers, healthcare workers, and the entire community\nduring the haze management period. The government also urged the public\nnot to clear land through burning and to report immediately via the free\nTRC 112 Pekanbaru AMAN service if any potential fire is discovered.<\/p>\n<p>This spirit of mutual cooperation is part of the \u2018Pekanbaru Lestari\u2019\nmovement: building a green, healthy, resilient, and comfortable city for\nall citizens and future generations.<\/p>",
