        "content": "<p>PT Pegadaian distributed 913 sacrificial animals for Eid al-Adha 1447\nHijriah, comprising 212 cattle and 701 goats. This is consistently\ncarried out as a tangible expression of the company\u2019s social concern and\ncommitment to its Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility\n(TJSL) programme. All sacrificial animal aid was distributed evenly\nthrough the Head Office, Regional Offices, Area Offices, Branch Offices,\nand involving partnered ecosystems such as Pegadaian-managed Waste Banks\nand assistance to several Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) across\nvarious regions. The involvement of these Waste Banks adds strategic\nvalue by strengthening environmental partnerships and empowering local\ncommunities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis annual distribution activity, carried out with employees, is a\nform of gratitude for the company\u2019s positive operational performance and\nour commitment to being present within communities. We hope that through\nthis Eid al-Adha opportunity, the trust placed in Pegadaian staff will\nprovide equitable food benefits to those in need, particularly around\nour operational areas,\u201d said Eka Pebriansyah, Director of Network and\nOperations at PT Pegadaian.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, the Head Office coordinated the distribution of 65\ncattle and 39 goats. The remainder was widely distributed through 12\nRegional Offices to ensure the benefits of the sacrificial animals\nextend beyond the capital and reach all regions of Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>Eka also stated that all distributed sacrificial animals underwent a\nselection process to ensure safety and suitability for consumption.\nThrough this programme, Pegadaian aims to strengthen community bonds\nwhile enhancing the company\u2019s social value in line with the Brilian Ways\nspirit of unity.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, on Friday (29 May), Pegadaian\u2019s Rohis (Islamic Affairs\nUnit) distributed a total of 22 sacrificial animals, yielding\napproximately 4,500 high-quality meat packages. These packages were\ndistributed precisely to eligible recipients, including the needy and\nlocal communities.<\/p>\n<p>Through the Eid al-Adha 1447 H occasion, Pegadaian has implemented\nits Social pillar commitment under ESG.
