PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BTN) has maintained its
highest rating of idAAA with a stable outlook from PT Pemeringkat Efek
Indonesia (Pefindo). This rating is valid for the period from 4
September 2026 to 1 September 2027.

BTN President Director Nixon LP Napitupulu stated that this
achievement is a testament to the trust in BTN’s fundamentals and
resilience. “This rating motivates us to continue innovating to maintain
a strong business position, strengthen liquidity and financial
flexibility, and ensure that BTN’s business growth remains healthy and
sustainable,” Nixon said in a written statement on Tuesday
(8/9/2026).

Pefindo assessed that BTN’s credit strength is supported by very
strong business, liquidity, and financial flexibility. Pefindo also
assigned a positive predicate to BTN as a corporation due to the very
strong support from the government, in line with BTN’s role in
supporting government programmes in the housing sector, including
President Prabowo Subianto’s Three Million Houses programme.

In addition to the corporate rating, Pefindo also maintained the
idAAA rating for the Sustainable Social Bond I Stage I Year 2025 valued
at Rp300 billion, as well as the idAA rating for the Subordinated Bond I
Stage I Year 2025 valued at Rp2 trillion.

Meanwhile, despite transforming towards a ‘beyond mortgage’ strategy,
BTN continues to support government housing programmes, including the
provision of subsidised mortgages (KPR) for low-to-middle income
communities. As of 30 June 2026, 60% of BTN’s shares are owned by the
Indonesian Government through BPI Danantara and BP BUMN, while 40% is
held by the public.
",
