        "content": "<p>JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The peak of the Lebaran 2026 return flow is\npredicted to reach more than 285,000 vehicles, exceeding the number of\nvehicles during the mudik peak, which was recorded at 270,315\nvehicles.<\/p>\n<p>Transport Minister Dudy Purwagandhi has urged the public to avoid the\npeak return flow, expected to occur on 24, 28, and 29 March 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The appeal was made during an inspection of H+1 Lebaran traffic flow\nat the Jasamarga Tollroad Command Center (JMTC) on Sunday\n(22\/03\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, the government urges the public to return to Jabotabek on\n23 March 2026 by utilising the public holiday, or during the period of\n25-27 March 2026 by taking advantage of the Work From Anywhere\nperiod.<\/p>\n<p>He added that avoiding the peak return flow is necessary to ensure\nmore even traffic distribution and make public travel more\ncomfortable.<\/p>\n<p>In line with this, National Police Traffic Corps Chief Agus\nSuryonugroho stated that there are three return flow peaks that mudik\nparticipants need to anticipate.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, President Director of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk Rivan A.\nPurwantono invited the public to plan their journeys better, including\nutilising toll fee incentives.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe also remind mudik participants to take advantage of the 30\npercent toll fee discount during the return flow period for two days,\nnamely on 26-27 March 2026, on 9 Jasa Marga Group toll roads for\ncontinuous journeys,\u201d said Rivan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe aim is the same as recommended by the Transport Minister and the\nNational Police Traffic Corps Chief, namely to control the distribution\nof return flow traffic volume and provide more comfortable travel for\nthe public,\u201d Rivan explained.<\/p>\n<p>In facing the return flow, Jasa Marga is strengthening services on\nmain toll roads by optimising toll gates, preparing service fleets, and\nconducting situational traffic management.<\/p>\n<p>Traffic monitoring is also carried out in real-time through JMTC,\nsupported by information dissemination via the Travoy application, call\ncentre 133, and Radio Travoy FM.<\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of Transportation, National Police Traffic Corps, and\nJasa Marga also remind the public to ensure vehicle and driver\nconditions are in top shape, to rest sufficiently at rest areas, and to\nensure sufficient fuel and electronic money balance before entering the\ntoll road.<\/p>",
