        "content": "<p>The West Java Regional Police (Polda Jabar) is preparing sanctions\nagainst three of its members involved in a viral incident where a Toyota\nAlphard ran a red light at the Hotel Indonesia (HI) roundabout in\nCentral Jakarta. According to the Head of Public Relations of the West\nJava Police, Commissioner Hendra Rochmawan, although a peace agreement\nhas been reached between the parties, the disciplinary and code of\nethics enforcement process will continue.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe peace agreement between the parties does not erase the code of\nethics sanctions against the three individuals, First Inspector DG,\nBrigadier BS, and Brigadier RPW,\u201d Hendra said in Bandung, West Java, on\nSaturday (25\/7\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Hendra stated that the three personnel have undergone an examination\nby the Profession and Security Division (Bid. Propam) of the West Java\nPolice. \u201cThe examination has been conducted by the West Java Police\nPropam Division on our three members. Sufficient evidence was found of\nviolations of the Police Professional Code of Ethics as per National\nPolice Regulation Number 7 of 2022,\u201d Hendra said.<\/p>\n<p>Hendra explained that the results of the examination will be followed\nup through the mechanism of the Police Professional Code of Ethics\nCommission hearing to determine the sanctions for the three members\ninvolved. \u201cThe results will be followed up through the code of ethics\nprocess and the Police professional code of ethics hearing,\u201d he\nadded.<\/p>\n<p>Hendra also conveyed an apology to the security officer involved in\nthe altercation with the three members during the incident. \u201cWe convey\nour apologies to the security guard at the HI Roundabout for the\narrogant and inappropriate treatment by the three members of the West\nJava Police,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The West Java Police is committed to taking firm and transparent\naction against any violations committed by its personnel, as a form of\naccountability to the public. \u201cWe, the West Java Police, are committed\nand consistent in taking firm and transparent action against any\nviolations committed by members,\u201d Hendra stated.<\/p>",
