The\nletter was signed by PDIP DPP Secretary-General Hasto Kristiyanto and\nHead of the DPP Party Honour Division Komarudin Watubun on 22 June,\nregarding a Request for Data and Information Related to the MBG\nProgramme. \u201cThe PDIP DPP requests your assistance in providing the\nnecessary data and information,\u201d the letter stated. The letter was\nissued following up on a party instruction via a previous letter on 24\nFebruary that no cadres in the executive, legislative, or structural\nbranches should utilise the MBG for financial gain. The data request is\nalso intended in light of the legal process concerning alleged\ncorruption within the programme, which has now implicated several senior\nfigures. \u201cTherefore, internal party clarification and verification steps\nare needed regarding parties suspected of having links to Party cadres,\u201d\nit said. Specifically, through the letter, the PDIP DPP requested that\nthe BGN submit a number of data points regarding the involvement of its\ncadres in the MBG.
